T-shirts don’t last forever

There comes a point when not even washing a shirt makes the smell of concentrated sweat dissapear. This has happened to me before. The shirts I used for kickboxing could not be used outside our tatami. If I happened to wear one of those t-shirts on any other occasion I had to very careful since [...]

Cenote on reikä maassa jossa haluaisin uida joka päivä

Lopussa itetehty video normipäivästä Meksikossa. Luen kuitenkin ensin kuinka nämä lammikot syntyi.
Luonnonmuokkaamien maauimaloiden syntyhistoria
65 miljoonaa vuotta sitten Mount Everestin kokoinen meteoriitti iskeytyi maahan reilun 70 000 kilometrin tuntivaihdilla, tuhoten 70% kaikesta elämästä. Samassa rytäkässä kuolivat myös dinosaurukset.

Village of Piste and an old perv man

(I wrote this on September 4th)

Today I left Merida Behind. I visited Uxmal and it was a gorgeous place. No words of mine will do justice for it.
Merida is a nice city. It’s the capital of Yucatan state. To my liking, after returning from the ruins of Uxmal, it seemed terrible polluted. The streets are [...]

Uxmal – Maya ruins in Yucatan peninsula

These are probably my favourite ruins in the state of Yucatan. There aren’t that many tourists and it’s a really impressive place. I recommend taking some stuff to keep mosquitos away during the rainy season and lots of water. It’s a sweaty place in summer.

Manuel, hammock seller in Merida, Yucatan

Manuel sells handmade hammocks for living on the streets of Merida. He explained to me how there are different types of hammocks and how the best hammocks in the world are made in here. After all Merida is the capital of Hammocks. Manuel says he makes the hammocks himself and then sells them on street. [...]
