As for ideas, um, let me think about this for a sec. Volunteer somewhere? Look for temp work, maybe at a newspaper or some such organization? Approach some international press agency in Mexico for an internship? Intensive Spanish language course? Surfing? Hiking? Return to Bolivia and see the place where you lived when you were little? Visit the US?

Hey, speaking of travel etc, Nicholas Kristof&#039;s most recent piece has travel tips. It&#039;s also pretty funny, and makes him sound like an action hero.
